Ted Mabrey, died February 1, 2006 at Hospice House.?Born in Greenwood County, May 9, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Henry Paul and Gladys Erving Albea. She was formerly employed by Edwards Department Store in Aiken and retired from Asco, formerly Therm-O-Disc. She was a member of Harris Baptist Church and the Druid Hills Coffee Club. ?Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are two sons, Michael W. and wife, Diane Jenkins, Thomas Henry and wife, Monica Jenkins, all of Aiken; a daughter, Janis Dian and husband, Scotty Bolt of Aiken; a step-daughter, Wanda and husband, James Witt of Greenwood; step-sons, Jerry S. and wife Lorraine Mabrey of Belvedere and Robert David Mabrey of Arlington, TX; a sister, Betty Bennington of Aiken and a brother, Joseph Albea of Albany, GA; grandchildren, David Michael Jenkins, Jennie Lauren Jenkins, Meagan Della Jenkins, Jonathan Del Gregory and Sonya Renee Gregory; step-grandchildren, Shawn and wife, Crystal Bolt, B.J. and wife Angie Bolt, Scott Hebreth Witt, Adam Michael Witt, Jamey Elizabeth Witt, Brian Christopher Witt and wife, Jana, Shay Mabrey and Lisa Mabrey; great-grandchildren, Joshua Grant Jones, Shelby Malinn Jones and Austin Tyler Gregory; step-great-grandchildren, Tori Bolt, Dawn Bolt, Shay Bolt and Grant Thomas Witt.?Mrs. Mabrey was twice married, first to the late Henry Grover "Junior" Jenkins, Jr. of Aiken. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 pm Saturday from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. "ALBEA - Funeral services for Johnny G. Albea were conducted (SUNDAY AFTERNOON) at 2 o'clock in the Memorial Baptist Church. Interment followed in Edgewood Cemetery in Greenwood, S.C. Surviving are two sons, Johnny G. Albea, Jr., Paul Derek Albea two brothers, Gene Albea and Clinton Albea; three grandchildren, Nicole, Ashley, and Krismas Albea; and, three step-grandchildren. AIKEN - Johnny G. Albea, 62, of 1610 North Carolina Ave., husband of Mrs. Dorothy M. Albea, died June 23, 1988 at his home.
Born in Greenwood, he was the son of Mrs. Elsie Albea and the late Melvin Albea. He was owner and operator of the City Barber Shop for over 20 years and a member of Memorial Baptist Church. He served witht he Sea Bees, which was part of the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of Aikenand his mother of Winder, Ga., are two sons, Johnny G. Albea, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Va, and Paul Derek Albea of Aiken; and two brothers, Gene Albea of Winder and Clinton Albea of Houston, Texas.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Clinton D. Henderson officiating. Burial will be at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in Edgewood Cemetery of Greenwood.
The family is at the home and will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at George Funeral Home."

"Pansy Chandler

Pansy Albea Chandler, 73, of Dove Lane, died Sunday, May 7, 2006, at St. Francis Hospital, Downtown.
Born in Greenwood, she was the daughter of the late Charles Vernon and Auline Witt Albea.
Ms. Chandler was retired from Meyers Arnold and was of the Presbyterian faith.
Surviving are two sons, Bobby Eugene Turner Jr. of Carrabelle, Fla., and Jim Chandler and his wife, Charlotte, of Greenville; two sisters, Frances A. Clary of Greenville and June A. Wingard of Decatur, Ga.; and two grandchildren, Caroline and Will Chandler. She was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Albea.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be held prior to the services from 12 to 1:15 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at the home of a son, Jim Chandler, ****.
