      "MRS. QUATTLEBAUM OF NEAR GREENWOOD IS CLAIMED BY DEATH
      Greenwood, S. C., Feb. 2. - Mrs. Martha Reagan Quattlebaum, 80, widow of the late Milledge E. Quattlebaum died at the home of her step daughter, Mrs. R. B. Bell, in the Callison section, of pneumonia early today after a week's illness.
      Funeral services will be conducted at the Troy A. R. P. church tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by the Rev. J. H. Buzhardt, the Rev. C. W. Brockwell, the Rev. G. W. Gurley, the Rev. D. D. Jones and the Rev W. L. Pressly. Interment will be in the Roy cemetery.
      Mrs. Quattlebaum was a school teacher for 32 years and was widely known for her religious work. She was the daughter of E. O. Reagan and Rosanna Brown and was a native of the Troy section. She was a life long member of the A. R. P. church.
      Surviving are the following step children: Mrs. J. M. Witt, Miss Clara Quattlebaum, Mrs. R. B. Bell, J. P. Quattlebaum, S. O. Quattlebaum, all of Callison, and Mrs. J. S. Witt of Greenwood. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
      Mr. Quattlebaum died in 1926." [3]
